Napa Valley Resolution Run in Yountville on January 1. The race starts and ends at the Yountville Community Center. Celebrate the new year running!
Annadel Half Marathon & 5K on April 7. Held in beautiful Trione-Annadel State Park, this event features a challenging half marathon on a hilly course, with a more than 1,500-foot elevation gain.
Yoga, Hiking, Farm to Table Food and Wine at Lotus Feed Farm on June 1-3. Outdoor yoga deck, homemade farm to table food, rustic yurts, wine tasting.
Windsor Green Half Marathon in Windsor on June 3. This event consist of three different distances, all events start and finish on the Windsor Town Green.
Kenwood Footrace on July 4. The Kenwood Footrace holds the distinction as the oldest running 10K footrace in California. Held in the Sonoma Valley village of Kenwood; both races start and finish at Kenwood Plaza Park. A post-race event in the park features live music, food, beer, and games.
Napa-to-Sonoma Wine Country Half Marathon on July 15. This popular race starts at Napa’s Cuvaison Carneros Winery, winds through the picturesque Carneros wine region on the southern tip of Napa and Sonoma Valleys, and finishes up in historic Sonoma Plaza.
Ironman 70.3 in Santa Rosa on July 28. It includes a 1.2-mile single-loop swim in Lake Sonoma; a 56-mile cycling course featuring gentle rollers through wine country and quaint towns; and a tree-lined half-marathon along the Santa Rosa Creek trail, with the finish line located in the new Courthouse Square park in downtown Santa Rosa.
Water To Wine Half Marathon & 10k on August 5. Starting and finishing at Kendall Jackson Wine Estate and Gardens. The Half Marathon course is 90% paved with two off-road sections through vineyards on hard packed dirt roads. The 10k course is 99% paved, only the last 100 yards will be hard packed dirt winery road.
Summer Weekend Yoga Retreat with Wine Tasting at Westerbeke Ranch on August 24-26. Weekend getaway with yoga, nature, outdoor pool, wine tasting and nature.
Santa Rosa Marathon on August 26. In 2018 the Santa Rosa Marathon is celebrating its 10th anniversary, and will be marking the occasion with special limited-edition double-spinner medals, race swag and a bottle of DeLoach Vineyards wine for every Marathon and Half Marathon finisher.
Napa Half Marathon in Napa on September 30. Marathons start and finish at Skyline Park and wind through scenic Napa County with beautiful vineyards and spectacular vistas throughout the entire course.
Healdsburg Half Marathon & 5K Run Wine Country on October 14. The races start and end in downtown Healdsburg, just north of City Hall.
Cloverdale Harvest Marathon and 10K on October 21. As the sun rises on race day, you’ll head out into the beautiful Alexander Valley. With a mixture of flats and gently rolling hills, the course will take you amongst vineyards resplendent in fall colors, with views of the Russian River valley.
Looking to lace up your shoes before the big race? Head out on the 1,400 miles of secondary roads linking vineyards to the many different villages, or the 250 miles of forest, mountain and coastal trails spread among 45 regional parks. Try these running routes in Wine Country.
