April Events in Wine Country

It is springtime in Wine County; the weather is heating up and so are the local wine country events.  From antique faires to parades, beer festivals to 10K runs, there is something for everyone to enjoy during the month of April in Sonoma County.

Cloverdale Old Time Fiddle Festival (April 1)

*Mayacama Member* Vineyard 7 & 8 Wine Dinner (April 8)
Saturday, April 8th 6:30pm – 9:30pm
Vineyard 7&8 sits at the top of Spring Mountain.  Their vineyards, which lie above the fog, are late ripening with low yields, natural drainage, and infertile volcanic soil. These unique conditions add to the distinctive quality of their wines which is unlike any other appellation.
Their facility allows them to micromanage the entire process, beginning in the vineyards and ending with the consumer.  Owner, associate winemaker, and your fellow member, Wes Steffens will host the dinner. This is a very special opportunity to spend quality time with Wes and one you won’t want to miss. His wines are exceptional and will be paired with a terrific menu chosen by him and Executive Chef, Scott Pikey. Click HERE to register.

Annual Battle of the Brews (April 8)
Experience an incredible day of beers, ciders, bands, and great food at Sonoma County’s Premier Craft Beer Event. Enjoy live performances while over 70 breweries and cideries as well as 20 restaurants vie for your vote.  All proceeds benefit local at-risk youth and other non-profits in Sonoma County. More information can be found here.

The IPA 10k and Beer Mile Invitational is a celebration of running and beer in Sebastopol. This two-day event includes a marketplace expo, hoppy Easter hunt and run on Saturday.
